NVIDIA is hiring a GPU Kernel Mode Driver Engineer to develop kernel-mode Linux drivers for its latest-generation GPUs, collaborate with the Linux kernel community, influence upstream architecture, and represent NVIDIA GPU software in open source. The role requires 10+ years of software development experience, a BS or MS in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience, device-driver and kernel-mode software experience, and a track record of successfully upstreaming Linux kernel patches. Base salary is 184,000–287,500 USD for Level 4 and 224,000–356,500 USD for Level 5, with equity and benefits; applications were accepted until July 28, 2026.
