Description
The System Status Controller monitors, coordinates, and supports emergency medical service communications by triaging emergency and non-emergency calls, assigning ambulance units, tracking unit status, coordinating with public safety agencies, and responding to system threats and high-volume events. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Virginia EMT certification, EMD certification, CPR certification, strong communication and multitasking skills, computer proficiency, and a valid Virginia driver's license. It is a full-time, rotating 12-hour shift position with an average of 42 hours per week and a target pay range of $25.00 to $28.96 per hour.
