Description
The Systems Test Engineer evaluates Value Analysis/Value Engineering initiatives and supports quality, cost reduction, supply chain, design-for-in-sourcing, and technology implementation across PerkinElmer products. The role conducts system-level testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis on customer-returned instruments and components, supports RMA and DOA investigations, validates corrective actions, and provides recommendations for product quality and reliability. It also supports New Product Introduction transfer, maintains defect and test records, and collaborates with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and other cross-functional teams. A bachelor of science degree and 2–5 years of analytical instrumentation experience are required.
