Description
Photonics Ops South, a CACI company, is hiring a full-time System Test Technician to independently test custom photonic, mechanical, and electrical hardware for Space flight Optical Inter Satellite Link Terminals. The role performs optical and electrical testing and characterization, follows test procedures, records data in travelers and MES, documents failures, and supports cleanroom test equipment and tooling. It requires experience testing complex electromechanical and optical assemblies, knowledge of optical sources, power meters, and optical spectrum analyzers, and basic electrical and photonic principles; an associate degree is desirable, and 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience is required. The position is first-shift, requires up to 10% travel within the Continental United States, and offers a proposed salary range of $49,200 to $100,900.
