Description
The Systems Administrator - Virtual Desktops Specialty manages, optimizes, and evolves the organization’s virtualization and virtual desktop environments. Responsibilities include administering virtual machines and user profiles, deploying and packaging applications, maintaining golden images, monitoring performance and availability, troubleshooting advanced incidents, managing Intune and GPO policies, supporting VMware ESX/vSphere, and documenting procedures. The role reports to the User Systems Team Lead and requires a college diploma in computer science or equivalent education and experience, along with hands-on virtual desktop and Windows Server expertise. It may be based in Montreal, Brossard, or Quebec City with 100% remote work or a hybrid arrangement.
