Description

RightShip is hiring a Systems Agentic Engineer to architect and operate AI-native software delivery systems across the engineering organisation. The role builds multi-step agentic pipelines, agent types, internal developer-platform tooling, and automation covering code review, testing, PR triage, release notes, and incident summarisation. It requires a computer science or software engineering degree, at least 10 years of software engineering experience including 2 years with production LLMs or AI systems, strong Python and agentic-systems expertise, and experience integrating AI automation into SDLC workflows. The engineer will also evaluate orchestration frameworks, manage AI costs, and coach engineering teams on agentic patterns and prompt engineering.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or an equivalent discipline

At least 2 years working directly with LLMs or AI-powered systems in a production context
Hands-on experience building and operating agentic or multi-step AI pipelines in production
Experience integrating AI-powered automation into SDLC workflows
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure
