Description
The Controls Engineer will develop, design, test, commission, and troubleshoot hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, PLC, LabVIEW, embedded, and automated control systems for production testing and new product development. The role works with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, software, manufacturing, and automation teams, prepares schematics and documentation, selects control hardware, and supports product prototypes and production engineering. A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline and proven controls or systems engineering experience are required; LabVIEW and PLC programming are advantageous. The position is based in Birmingham, United Kingdom, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
