Universal Avionics is hiring an onsite Systems and Network Security Engineer in Tucson, Arizona, to own and strengthen server, network, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure while administering security technologies such as SIEM, DLP, IPS/IDS, EDR, firewalls, VPNs, virtualization, identity services, and access controls. The role also covers vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, incident response, backup and recovery, monitoring, hardening, mentoring IT Support Specialists, and partnering with business teams on security decisions. Candidates should have 5–7 years of experience across systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, or a combination, along with strong troubleshooting, communication, and judgment skills; a related bachelor's degree is preferred, and industry certifications are a plus.
