Description

Xcelerate Solutions is hiring a Systems and Platform Engineer in Bethesda, Maryland to design, develop, and optimize enterprise Kubernetes platforms supporting mission-customer AI workloads. The role covers Kubernetes cluster engineering, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, Linux and GPU platform administration, troubleshooting, documentation, and federal security compliance. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree and 8+ years, at least 5 years in platform or system engineering, a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly or willingness to obtain one, and DoD IAT Level II or III certification.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree, with the latter allowing 8+ years of experience in lieu of the degree.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of platform or system engineering experience.
Experience administering Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
Hands-on Docker container and image management and troubleshooting.
Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and AI/ML workflow orchestration.
Experience consuming and troubleshooting RESTful APIs for platform integration and automation.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing NVIDIA GPU data center platforms.
Experience with NVIDIA enterprise tools.
Knowledge of enterprise server components.
Familiarity with GPU virtualization and cloud computing.
Experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS.
Knowledge of distributed resource scheduling systems.
