Textron Systems is hiring a Software and Systems Engineering Manager to lead and oversee a cross-disciplinary team covering software engineering, systems engineering, system safety, cybersecurity, reliability, and related technical areas. The role manages staffing, performance, mentoring, Agile and MBSE practices, architecture, requirements, verification and validation, compliance, quality metrics, and customer and internal leadership reporting. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 10 years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least 8 years of experience; defense or military experience and an obtainable U.S. security clearance are preferred.
