Description
Momentus is hiring a Systems Architect Engineer to support the conceptualization and development of advanced spacecraft. The role involves analyzing technical trade-offs, developing and maintaining model-based systems engineering models, defining solution roadmaps and requirements, leading spacecraft conceptual design, and validating customer, market, and technical assumptions. Candidates should have experience with modeling, simulation, computational physics, multidisciplinary optimization, and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Julia, Fortran, or C++. The position requires an advanced degree in a relevant engineering or systems discipline, at least seven years of relevant experience, and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance. It is a full-time role in San Jose, California, with an annual base salary of $160,000 to $200,000 and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
