Description
GCI is seeking a hands-on Systems Architect (SME) to analyze, document, design, implement, and operate complex infrastructure, platform, application, cloud, and on-premises systems. The role requires deep technical expertise across networking, storage, containers, operating systems, identity, cloud platforms, databases, APIs, messaging, automation, CI/CD, security, monitoring, and architecture. The Systems Architect will lead modernization and transformation initiatives, collaborate with engineering and data teams, troubleshoot cross-stack issues, produce technical documentation, and serve as a technical escalation authority. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training or experience, US citizenship, and an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
