AWS is hiring a Government Compute Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable compute infrastructure for government customers. The role combines software development, systems engineering, networking, storage, and DevOps work, with responsibilities including root-cause analysis, reliability, scaling, automation, and customer issue resolution. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or CSSLP, at least two years of professional software development experience, one year of systems design or architecture experience, four years of networking and systems engineering experience, programming experience, and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for additional agency clearances.
