Description
Amazon is hiring a Systems Development Engineer to transform its Windows Core Services infrastructure into a DevOps-driven engineering organization. The role owns the design and implementation of Ansible automation, AWS CI/CD pipelines, CloudWatch observability, infrastructure-as-code patterns, and the migration of manual Windows operations to automated processes. The engineer will also maintain production Windows services, participate in on-call rotation, fix incidents, and prevent recurrence through automation. The position requires at least two years of professional software development experience, familiarity with Windows Server infrastructure, and a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph level.
