Amazon Security is hiring a Systems Development Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and operationally support scalable security services for Amazon’s cloud, retail, and other customer-facing services. The role involves building access control, identity, authentication, authorization, and lifecycle-management systems; automating operational fixes; and supporting a 24/7/365 operations team with on-call rotations. Candidates need systems-engineering fundamentals, professional software-development experience, system-design experience, programming experience, and EU citizenship; AWS, identity and access management, mentoring, and web-security experience are preferred.
