Description
The Systems Development Engineer will support prototype bring-up, validation, and qualification of server, networking, and optical platforms; coordinate between engineering design and test teams; manage lab resources and safety; troubleshoot network and Linux systems; and configure routers, switches, console servers, rack-and-stack deployments, and copper and fiber networks. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, two years of systems administration experience or one year with an advanced degree, network administration experience, and project management experience in an engineering lab or technical environment. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, Linux administration, scripting, Python, networking protocols, and lab safety experience. Compensation is $132,000–$189,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
