Google is hiring a Systems Development Engineer for its AI and Infrastructure team to support Linux machines globally, collaborate with infrastructure partners on remote troubleshooting, participate in a follow-the-sun operations roster, automate support and onboarding, and use agentic AI to automate complex support actions. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT-related field or equivalent practical experience, plus five years of experience in systems automation, systems design and implementation, and technical infrastructure reliability.
