Google is hiring a Systems Development Engineer to deploy and operate Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped solutions at customer sites and internal reference deployments. The role involves troubleshooting infrastructure issues across networks, storage, servers, operating systems, and Kubernetes; collaborating with customers and internal teams; participating in international deployments and training; and contributing to partner training programs. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least three years of relevant infrastructure automation or cloud deployment experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a German security clearance. The role is based in Germany and offers €100,000–€102,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
