Google is hiring a Systems Development Engineer to manage and scale systems and services for United States Government customers. The role focuses on automating service lifecycles, building observability and telemetry solutions, troubleshooting complex multi-domain issues, coordinating compute and storage integrations, and implementing secure configurations. The engineer will also support scheduled on-call rotations and mentor junior team members. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, three years of systems automation and design experience, scripting experience, and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.
