Amazon is hiring a Systems Development Engineer for its Environmental Test team on the Leo satellite program. The role owns multiple test systems, supports early production ramp testing, develops automation and error-proofing strategies, troubleshoots hardware and software integration issues, and improves manufacturing process controls. The position is split between shop-floor production support, independent data and process improvement work, and cross-functional meetings, with 40% on the shop floor. Candidates need infrastructure automation experience, programming experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, and at least two years of test-plan development experience. The role is based in Kirkland, Washington, with a base salary of $129,200 to $174,800 annually.
