Description
AWS is hiring a Systems Engineer for its Region Services team to support the design, development, and operation of AWS cloud regions and Route 53 DNS infrastructure. The role focuses on system health monitoring, diagnostics, repair, self-healing automation, application and system management tools, production acceptance testing, fleet monitoring, and out-of-hours incident resolution. Candidates must be Australian citizens eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance, have at least one year of automation experience, programming experience in a modern language, and Linux/Unix experience; preferred qualifications include distributed systems, network fundamentals, monitoring frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code experience. The role is based in Melbourne or Sydney.
