The role performs process and hardware characterization for semiconductor process development and enhancement, including diagnostic measurements, analytical testing, data analysis, root-cause troubleshooting, lab-tool operation, customer communication, and support for field transfers. It requires an engineering or physical-science degree, data-analysis and problem-solving skills, laboratory safety, independent work under deadline pressure, and occasional travel outside the United States. The salary range is $127,000 to $174,420.
