Description
AWS is hiring a Systems Engineer for its Region Services team to design, build, and operate Route 53 DNS infrastructure for Australia's sovereign cloud programme. The role owns the full engineering lifecycle, including latency-based routing, Private DNS, Geo DNS, failover, automation, monitoring, cross-service integration, incident response, root-cause analysis, and team mentorship. It is based in Sydney or Melbourne, requires Australian citizenship and eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance, and requires a bachelor's degree or relevant experience plus 5+ years of highly scalable systems experience.
