Amazon Robotics is hiring a senior Systems Engineer to serve as the primary technical bridge between customers and engineering teams for sensor and compute products. The role owns customer discovery, requirements capture and validation, system architecture trade-offs across optical, mechanical, electrical, and software domains, verification planning, benchmarking, and cross-functional design reviews. It is a senior solo-contributor position requiring a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or an equivalent field, at least 8 years of relevant systems or hardware product experience, and experience leading multi-disciplinary architecture and requirements work. The role is based in North Reading or Westboro, Massachusetts, with a base salary of 151,200 to 204,600 USD annually.
