AWS is hiring a Systems Engineer to support Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) for US government customers, including AWS GovCloud regions. The role focuses on improving tools, processes, and documentation; investigating customer issues; contributing code and automation; and learning site reliability engineering fundamentals. Candidates need programming experience, automation experience, an associate's degree or equivalent certification, and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position is based in Herndon, Virginia, with a base salary of $99,100 to $160,000 annually.
