Description
The Systems Engineer provides senior-level technical guidance and support for the Information Technology team, managing systems administration, network hardware and operating systems, infrastructure strategy, security, virtualization, monitoring, and technology implementation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems or related experience, DoD 8570 level II or higher security certification, at least ten years of information technology experience, and at least five years in a similar role or a strong portfolio of IT/networking projects. It requires a government security clearance, may involve travel up to 20%, and includes on-call and overtime responsibilities.
