Description

Core One is hiring a Mission Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical leadership for complex mission systems and communications capabilities. The role integrates, administers, and maintains communications, beaconing, tracking, ATAK-based solutions, mobile devices, cloud infrastructure, networks, VPNs, and encryption technologies; supports system Assessment and Authorization; troubleshoots integrated systems; and coordinates with technical teams, end users, and sponsor stakeholders. The position requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and experience with LAN equipment, beacon and communications servers, user-account scripting, training, and system uptime.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN equipment, including firewalls, switches, and routers
Experience managing physical and virtual beacon and communications servers, applications, and equipment
Experience delivering hands-on and lecture-based training sessions
Experience creating, changing, adding, removing, and maintaining user accounts through scripting and coding
Experience maintaining maximum system uptime and stability
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Sponsor Assessment and Authorization processes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with Sponsor personnel
Experience using push-to-talk communication tools
Experience using map imagery applications
Experience with Microsoft cloud-based tools including Office 365, Azure, Entra, and Teams
