Description
The Systems Engineer will join Engineers Gate's Systems Infrastructure team, focusing on day-to-day system administration and supporting end-user systems. This role involves working with a large, Linux-centric, multi-tenant AWS cloud environment, utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible and infrastructure management tools like Terraform. The engineer will also handle containerized workloads using AWS ECS and Batch, leveraging cloud-managed services for database and laaS offerings. They will interact with diverse databases, user-facing systems across various platforms, and operate in a SaaS-heavy corporate environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude, systemic thinking, and the ability to independently research and propose solutions.
