Description

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support early-phase activities within the Systems-Engineering Development Lifecycle for the C2BMC program. The role involves leading system concept development, requirements decomposition, interface definition, and model-based engineering efforts, working closely with internal teams, customers, and Agile development partners. This position is fully in-office.

Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of experience
5+ years of job-related experience
Experience working under general direction with accountability for meeting objectives.
Demonstrated ability to engage with internal and external customers to develop and refine technical solutions.
Strong background in Systems Engineering and architecture, ideally with test experience.
Ability to produce high‑quality results on tasks where failure can result in program delays or significant cost impacts.
Active TOP SECRET clearance or higher.
Hands‑on experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working across the full Systems‑Engineering Development Lifecycle.
Demonstrated strength in concept development and requirements decomposition.
Experience with Missile Defense System components or Space Defense / Space Domain Awareness missions.
Background supporting command and control systems with advanced networking architectures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical content and receive critical feedback.
