Description
Kairos Power is hiring a Systems Engineer to support the development and integration of advanced nuclear energy systems. The role applies systems engineering methods to translate program objectives and stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements and integrated system solutions, covering requirements, functional and system architectures, interfaces, verification, technical reviews, change-impact assessment, and risk management. The engineer will coordinate with engineering, project management, licensing, quality, operations, suppliers, and external partners, mentor less-experienced engineers, and improve systems engineering processes. The position is onsite at Kairos Power’s Alameda, California headquarters, with some travel and occasional schedule flexibility.
