Description

The Radio System Engineer will provide technical and engineering support for voice, data, and radio communication systems; design, install, configure, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and document radio infrastructure; monitor system performance and availability; support 7x24x365 on-call operations; coordinate with internal and external technology owners; and manage project plans, risks, and service tickets. The role requires working knowledge of radio communications, RF systems, data communications, network systems, and relevant FCC and FAA regulations, with system-wide travel as required.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of working knowledge of radio communications, including HF, VHF, UHF, and trunk radio systems
Experience with RF communications systems design

Experience with radio-telephony systems
Experience with local exchange carrier and telecommunications processes
