ResMed is hiring a Systems Engineer for its Devices Systems team in Sydney to support the development of sleep therapy devices from concept through verification and submission. The role translates user, clinical, business, and regulatory needs into system requirements, risk assessments, and technical solutions; maintains requirements traceability; collaborates with software, algorithm, electronics, mechanical, verification, and clinical teams; evaluates design trade-offs; supports product verification and validation; and participates in system risk management. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, foundational engineering and systems-thinking knowledge, systematic problem-solving, cross-functional communication, and willingness to learn medical device regulations and quality systems.
