Toomey Technologies is hiring an experienced Systems Engineer to support a federal customer in Washington, DC. The role focuses on designing, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, securing, and improving mission-critical enterprise IT systems, including Windows and Linux servers, VMware ESXi virtualization, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Microsoft SQL databases, ACAM and VMS servers, backup and recovery, monitoring, patching, configuration management, and network connectivity. The position requires an active Public Trust, a bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience, and six years of relevant systems engineering or enterprise IT experience, along with strong problem-solving, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
