Description
The Backup Systems Engineer will lead the engineering, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise-scale backup solutions supporting national defense missions. The role focuses on Commvault backup systems, hardened installation and configuration procedures, data protection strategy, operational support, documentation, training, and collaboration with architects and solution owners. It requires extensive enterprise backup, Windows Server, VMware, PowerShell, networking, and security-clearance experience, with on-site delivery at the NIWC Pacific Old Town Campus in San Diego and potential OCONUS travel.
