Description
York Space Systems is hiring a Systems Engineer – Deputy Mission Operations Lead to support mission planning, execution, and operational readiness across the spacecraft mission lifecycle. The hands-on individual contributor will partner with the Mission Operations Lead, contribute to systems engineering and integration activities, develop operational procedures and documentation, analyze telemetry, support anomaly investigations, and perform real-time spacecraft operations during launch, early orbit, commissioning, and routine on-orbit operations. The role also provides technical mentorship and may serve as the Mission Operations Lead when delegated. It is fully on-site in the Greenwood Village office and requires a relevant engineering or computer science degree plus 2–6 years of experience, along with an active SECRET security clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI in the future.
