AWS is hiring a Systems Engineer for its Managed Operations team to build and lead operations and development teams delivering high-availability AWS services for European customers. The role focuses on operating and improving large software systems, reviewing service health, diagnosing anomalies, executing production changes through change management, resolving operational issues, and participating in on-call rotations. Required qualifications include Linux or networking troubleshooting experience, Python or Perl scripting experience, and EU national eligibility; preferred qualifications include systems engineering, site reliability engineering, high-availability distributed applications, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD or DevOps practices.
