AWS is hiring a Systems Engineer for its Managed Operations team to build and lead operations and development teams delivering high-availability AWS services for European customers. The role focuses on operating and improving software systems, reviewing service health, writing bug reports, executing planned production changes, resolving operational issues, and participating in out-of-hours on-call rotations. Required qualifications include Linux or networking troubleshooting experience, scripting experience, and EU national status; preferred qualifications include a technical degree, cloud and infrastructure-as-code experience, and familiarity with monitoring and performance-tuning tools.
