Pivotal is hiring a Systems Engineer – GNC & Flight Controls to support requirements development, system integration, and verification and validation of aircraft guidance, navigation, control, flight-control, estimation, sensing, and embedded software systems. The role focuses on translating aircraft-level needs into testable requirements, maintaining traceability in Jama, defining verification methods, reviewing MATLAB/Simulink models and C/C++ and Python implementation, and supporting integration, anomaly investigation, and flight-test readiness. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least five years of experience with complex safety-critical systems, and strong requirements, verification, controls, and systems-engineering expertise. The position is onsite in Palo Alto, California, and includes medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
