Description

Xcelerate Solutions is hiring a mid-career Systems Engineer focused on HPC and GPU infrastructure to design, install, maintain, optimize, test, and document GPU clusters for intelligence-community customers. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least four years of relevant systems engineering experience, Linux expertise, and proficiency with scripting and automation tools. It is a 100% on-site position at the customer site in Bethesda, Maryland.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years of relevant systems engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of GPU virtualization, cloud computing, and emerging Linux-based technologies
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
Knowledge of distributed resource scheduling systems
Understanding of data center networking hardware and cabling
Understanding of networking technologies including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, HSRP, and SNMP
Knowledge of data center networking security principles, including firewall ACLs, IPS/IDS, and policy-based routing
