Description
Amazon Robotics Technology Deployment is hiring a Systems Engineer II to plan, execute, and launch large-scale industrial robotics and automation deployments across Amazon fulfillment centers in North America. The role owns onsite installation and acceptance testing, coordinates with engineering, product, safety, construction, and operations teams, resolves complex technical issues, improves deployment processes, and mentors junior engineers. It is an individual-contributor, travel-based position requiring relocation to one of four corporate offices and domestic travel of 75% or more. The role requires a bachelor's degree or relevant experience, at least five years of robotics or complex mechanical-electrical/networked-systems troubleshooting experience, five years of large-scale industrial robotics deployment project management experience, CAD and PLC/SCADA/network experience, and the ability to travel domestically 75% or more. Base salary ranges from $99,300 to $160,000 annually depending on location.
