Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Systems Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Tigard, Oregon, to lead the development and integration of complex semiconductor equipment platforms. The role covers systems architecture, requirements and specifications, trade studies, integration, verification, testing, troubleshooting, and technical leadership across electrical, mechanical, optical, algorithmic, software, and electro-optical subsystems. Candidates need a bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of engineering experience in semiconductor equipment, photonics, electro-optical systems, advanced instrumentation, aerospace EO/IR systems, imaging systems, or related fields, with experience in complex multidisciplinary system development throughout the product lifecycle.
