Description

Lockheed Martin is hiring a Radar Systems Engineer to support the integration, test, checkout, and formal acceptance testing of ground-based and multi-mission air defense radar programs. The role performs technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, functional, timeline, trade, requirements, and interface analyses, and provides hands-on engineering support during acceptance testing, including BIT/PMFL troubleshooting and live target data analysis. The position is based in the Syracuse/Central New York area, may require domestic or international travel, and requires a U.S. citizenship, government security clearance, and special access. The full-time salary range is $70,500 to $130,900, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with at least two years of professional engineering or technical experience, or a related master's degree with no experience required.
Required Previous Experiences: At least two years of professional engineering or technical experience.
Experience conducting structured test cases and documenting findings and results using established development and configuration management processes.
Experience working with internal and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on radar system experience.
