Lockheed Martin is hiring a Level 5 Systems Engineer, specifically a Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)/Obsolescence Management Specialist, to support lifecycle sustainment for complex products and systems in the F-35 Reprogramming Labs. The role identifies and mitigates material and component obsolescence risks, develops 10-year roadmaps, forecasts obsolescence, supports alternate sourcing and redesign, participates in design reviews, and contributes to proposal and Basis of Estimate activities. The position requires a bachelor's degree or related technical experience, DMSMS or obsolescence-management knowledge, and is limited to United States citizens at a facility requiring special access.
