Description
The System Safety Engineer Stf performs hazard identification, evaluation, and control analyses for fighter aircraft weapon systems and sustainment activities. Responsibilities include functional, fault-tree, preliminary, system, software, and other safety analyses; risk assessments and trade studies; coordination with design teams, suppliers, management, and external customers; and establishment and evaluation of system safety requirements. The role requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience, cross-functional communication skills, and experience with system safety or a related discipline.
