Description
The Propulsion/PTMS Controls Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability analyses for propulsion and powertrain mission systems. The role develops functional and physical architectures, software requirements, hardware and software integration tests, system models, and requirements allocations; collaborates with cross-functional engineers to troubleshoot aircraft faults; and uses fleet data analytics to establish system-level requirements. The position requires a STEM bachelor’s degree or higher, MATLAB/Simulink scripting and modeling, software requirements development, and software/hardware integration and testing experience, with C/C++/C#, security clearance, Agile, Jira, Git, Visual Studio, embedded architectures, and SIMON test development experience preferred. The full-time salary range is $104,900 to $194,700, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, and other benefits.
