Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is hiring a full-time System Safety Engineer in Dallas, Texas, to lead safety analysis across aerospace and defense hardware products and subsystems. The role covers MIL-STD-882 hazard and safety assessments, software safety analysis, safety documentation, safe architecture and use-case development, customer and government briefings, and mentorship of junior engineers. Candidates must have an engineering bachelor’s degree, experience with MIL-STD-882 and software safety programs, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
