Description
Parsons is hiring a Systems Engineer to serve as the engineering team's documentation lead for a classified hybrid environment involving on-premises infrastructure and cloud systems. The role creates and maintains technical manuals, operator and administrator guides, SOPs, deployment plans, design documents, configuration baselines, diagrams, runbooks, recovery procedures, and troubleshooting guides; establishes documentation standards and workflows; participates in design reviews and configuration control boards; and verifies procedures in laboratory and production environments. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of systems engineering or related IT experience, strong technical writing and systems-documentation skills, Linux, virtualization, cloud, and TCP/IP knowledge, Visio or equivalent diagramming experience, and an active Top Secret SCI security clearance with SCI eligibility.
