Lockheed Martin is hiring a Lead Systems Engineer for an advanced missile/sensor development effort. The role leads cross-functional engineering activities from concept and trade studies through requirements, integration, verification, production transition, and design upgrades, while managing technical performance, risk, customer and supplier interfaces, and a multidisciplinary engineering team. Required experience includes DoD tactical system development, customer interface, requirements derivation, integration and test, major subcontract management, technology readiness levels, and major design reviews. Desired expertise includes formal decision analysis, Cameo, GPS, processor or FPGA design, aeronautics, GNC, data links, software implementation, program protection, Agile tools, and full program-lifecycle experience. The position offers a full-time salary range of $104,900 to $194,700 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
