Saab, Inc. is hiring a Systems Engineering Co-op/Intern for a spring-summer 2027 product-development role in East Syracuse, New York. The intern will apply engineering coursework to solve practical problems, develop product design skills, analyze and troubleshoot complex electronic and software systems, collaborate on a multidisciplinary engineering team, and support global system deployments. The role involves sensor products using software-defined radio, embedded and server Linux, IP networking, and other surveillance technologies. Candidates need 2–3 years of coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or relevant military education and training, along with analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; Linux, IP networking, programming, and RF or electronic test equipment familiarity are desired. Compensation is $20.27–$22.30 per hour, with a sign-on bonus available for off-site housing.
