HRL Laboratories is hiring a Systems Engineering Lead to serve as the primary customer technical point of contact for infrared sensor systems. The role leads architecture decisions, requirements definition, cross-functional engineering teams, technical trade studies, risk management, verification and validation, configuration control, and technology transition from prototype to production. Candidates need an engineering degree, at least six years of R&D experience, experience delivering systems to DoD, NASA, or aerospace standards, and knowledge of infrared camera systems and related technologies. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, with a California salary range of $154,500 to $197,900 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
